About Examination Cell

The Examination Cell at GDC, Nandikotkur is dedicated to evaluating the academic performance of students. It offers essential guidance and support to both faculty and students throughout the Internal and External Evaluation Processes, adhering to the principles established under the CBCS Framework and the guidelines set by Rayalaseema University, Kurnool. Our commitment is to ensure a fair and comprehensive evaluation system that fosters academic excellence.

Internal Examination Committee (IEC)

The college has established an Internal Examination Committee (IEC) under the chairmanship of the principal to oversee the Internal and External Assessment processes.

Role of the IEC:

• Examination Calendar:Prepare the Examination Calendar in alignment with the Academic Calendar of Rayalaseema University, to which the college is affiliated.
• Communication:Circulate notices and circulars related to examinations issued by the university to students and faculty, and ensure they are available on the college website.
• Conduct Examinations:Facilitate the smooth conduct of Internal and External Examinations in tandem with faculty, adhering to the established schedule.

Grievance Redressal Mechanism

Internal Examinations: The Internal Examination Committee (IEC) ensures a transparent process for addressing student grievances related to Internal Evaluation. If a student is dissatisfied with their internal evaluation, they can first approach the concerned teacher. If the issue remains unresolved, the IEC intervenes to address the concern in a transparent manner, in consultation with the teacher.

External Examinations: For grievances related to External Examinations, the IEC communicates these issues to the Controller of Examinations at Rayalaseema University through the Chief Superintendent of the Examination. Once the results are announced by the University, students are notified via the Notice Board and the college website. The IEC also assists students in applying for re-evaluation if necessary, and ensures that these applications are forwarded to the University for resolution.
