Consumer Club:
The Department of Commerce has established Consumer Club with the following objectives:

Consumer Awareness:
To create awareness among students, faculty, and staff about their rights and responsibilities as consumers in various aspects of life, including education, products, and services. -
Promotion of Consumer Rights:
To educate the community about consumer rights as per the Consumer Protection Act and encourage the responsible exercise of these rights in day-to-day transactions. -
Consumer Education:
To organize workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions to impart knowledge about consumer laws, ethical consumption, product safety, and fair business practices. -
Dispute Resolution:
To act as a support system for students and staff in resolving consumer-related disputes by providing guidance and information about legal remedies, consumer forums, and complaint procedures. -
Encouraging Ethical Consumerism:
To promote the importance of ethical consumption by encouraging sustainable practices, such as choosing eco-friendly products, avoiding exploitative marketing practices, and supporting fair trade. -
Product Quality Awareness:
To inform students and staff about the importance of product quality, safety standards, and the potential risks of substandard or counterfeit goods and services.
